About

SOME TIME AGO, I was sitting in a bar with Mr. Andy Byatt, director of “The Blue Planet” and “The Monsters We Met”. We were having some spicy Bloody Merry cocktails, talking about life bullshit. Just one year later I left my job in Public Relations and moved to Italy to study Filmmaking. Sometimes it’s just a conversation that blows the wind up and opens completely new horizons.

WHAT TURNS ME ON? People. The imperfection of the humans is essential for all the stories I talk about.

THE PERFECT SCENE in my mind doesn’t look posed or being directed. It's a particular moment in time, caught in a very certain way.

WHEN SHOOTING COMMERCIALS, it’s all about the idea. In a way, commercials are very short stories that usually should be presented in only 30 seconds. It’s a lot of time and it’s not.

MY PHOTOGRAPHS are mostly portraits that capture something real about the subject. I adore polaroids and I think analog instant photography is making a comeback. Even ignoring the technical aspect that make these pictures unique.
